( 1 ) Grinding head and coolant. The grinding head is mounted direct on to a powerful 0.55Kw (3/4 H.P.) motor fitted with an 8 inch diameter grinding stone which removes metal both effortlessly and quickly.

( 2 ) Omega is equipped with an integral coolant tank and a powerful pump. This delivers coolant via an efficient ball valve regulator direct to the point of contact between stone and chipper blade. Coolant is the most effective form of dust control and prevents the loss of metal hardness due to overheating.

( 3 ) Incremental hand wheel on the in-feed crew for accurate and positive in-feed control.
