Electrical Components Switches mounted within easy access incorporating, wheelhead, traverse, coolant and master stop. Each contactor combines water proof safety covers, overload relays and no-volt release protection. All remote control switchgear are operated by low voltage control circuits. Electricity Supply All Juno Series 5 run on 240volt single phase supply. Grinding Wheel 200mm (8") diameter x 25mm (1") width special reverse taper grinding wheel. Mounted on a large steel adaptor direct to the shaft of a 0.55Kw (2/3 H.P.) motor. Machine Bed A one-piece casting with linear bedrails and ALL working surfaces precision machined for strength and durability. Unlike fabricated grinders, the Juno range absorbs shock, noise and vibration to give exceptional accuracy. A cylinder ground on the Juno will be parallel to 0.051mm (0.002”) . Safety Features Safety friction clutch fitted to traverse, allows traverse to slip in the event of adverse load or grinding conditions. Two emergency stop buttons. Coolant on cylinders and bottom blade for minimising airborne dust. Options Rotary blade attachment. Chipper blade attachment. 3" wheel head for small multi bladed cylinders. Hoist 360° hoist available in electric and manual options. Fitted with 2 powerful overhead halogen lights for maximum vision and safety when loading, unloading, 'setting up' or grinding. Standard Equipment Hand free attachment for manual indexing. Universal mounting blocks for units with groomers and brush drive systems. Extended and adjustable mounting points.
